Introductions
My name is Anna
I am classically trained in both music and piano technology. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and I completed the Piano Technology Program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston where I received training in aural tuning, small repairs and regulations. As a piano technician, I am committed to providing quality care for you piano, whether it is a spinet or a concert grand.
As a pianist, I find great pleasure in continuing my musical career as an accompanist. I have collaborated with middle and high school choirs around the Treasure Valley playing for their rehearsals, recitals, concerts and festivals. I have also collaborated with colleges, playing for vocal and instrumental students as well as helping with opera rehearsals and other stage productions. If you are interested in having me as your accompanist, please contact me by phone number or email.
Thank you!
What you need to know
Before your technician arrives to service your piano, here are a few things you may need to know
For any type of work being done on your piano, the technician will need to be able to open the lids and some case parts. Anything that is placed on the piano and is not a part of the instrument will need to be removed.
Certain aspects of a technicians job, such as tuning, is going to bring some noise to the atmosphere. Just be aware of the temporary disruption.
If your piano is getting a regulation service, please be aware that this service takes several hours and will often need to be done in the home or at the instruments location.
